iOS 15 is the fifteenth major release of the iOS mobile operating system developed by Apple Inc. It was announced at the Worldwide Developers Conference on June 7, 2021, alongside iPadOS 15, watchOS 8, tvOS 15, and macOS Monterey, and was released on September 20, 2021.
iOS 15 includes a number of new features and improvements, including:

- Privacy & Security: The Privacy & Security section in Settings has been updated with new features. App Privacy Report shows you how apps have used your data in the past week. Camera & Microphone indicators let you know when apps are using your camera or microphone.
- Accessibility: iOS 15 includes a number of new accessibility features. Live Captions automatically transcribes audio into text, so you can see what’s being said in a video or phone call. ProMotion support for VoiceOver makes it easier to use VoiceOver on devices with ProMotion displays.
